Electric and Autonomous Vehicles: Latest Developments at Tesla

Earlier this summer, Tesla announced that it will no longer be using the including its forward radar sensors in the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. Tesla’s driver assist system, known collectively as Tesla Vision will now only rely on the onboard computer and camera suite. This week also saw the announcement that Hertz will be placing an order for 100,000 Tesla vehicles which will be added to their rental fleet by the end of 2022. These developments are just the latest of many at the Tesla which just attained a 1 trillion dollar market cap. It is progress like this that inspire us at Podium Automotive to continue our pursuit and development of new technologies to increase electric range and winter performance for the electric and autonomous industry.
